Wildly Simple Productions is led by Kristen and Kyle Newsom, filmmakers and photographers based in Northern California and working directly with brands and in-house marketing teams throughout California and beyond.

We’ve spent more than a decade creating films and photography around people, products, process, and place. Our work spans food, wine, agriculture, hospitality, and lifestyle.

Motion and stills are planned together when a project needs both, allowing each production to create a connected body of work that can move across campaigns, websites, social, hospitality, press, and future creative needs.

Leave room for discovery.

Not everything worth finding can be planned. A gesture, an unexpected answer, or a change in conditions can shift the work. We stay open to those moments without losing sight of the assignment.

Observation guides the work. Editorial judgment gives it shape.

Experience gives us a frame of reference, never a formula.

Who We Work With

We work directly with in-house marketing, brand, communications, DTC, ecommerce, and hospitality teams, as well as agencies looking for an experienced production partner.

Some teams come to us with a fully developed brief. Others bring us in earlier to help shape the creative direction and production approach.

Either way, we work best as an extension of the team: close to the assignment, direct in our communication, and involved from planning through final delivery.

Some relationships begin with one assignment. Others grow over time. When we return, familiarity improves access and gives us a deeper understanding of what has already been captured and what is still worth following.
