Editorial Libraries
Build what you need now. Capture what can support what comes next.
Editorial Libraries are collections of original photography, motion, interviews, and supporting material built through one connected production approach.
We begin with the immediate project, then look beyond the primary deliverable.
What else should be photographed? What supporting motion could remain useful? Is there a conversation worth preserving? Could part of the material support another creative need later?
The goal is not more content. It is more useful material.
Creative Direction & Planning
Plan for the full life of the production.
Before cameras roll, we define what needs to be made, how it should feel, where the finished work needs to live, and what else may be worth capturing while everyone is already there.
That can mean planning film and photography together, identifying interviews worth preserving, or anticipating additional uses of the material.
Not every possibility needs to become a deliverable.
Knowing what may be useful changes what we choose to capture.
What We Capture
We plan the photography, motion and conversations around the immediate project, with enough range to support future work.
Photography
Build a broader visual library.
Portraits, people, products, process, food, place, details, atmosphere and behind-the-scenes moments.
Photography can serve the immediate assignment while creating a deeper visual library for future use.

Motion
Capture more than the primary edit needs.
Process, movement, aerials where appropriate, environments, details, natural sound and supporting footage can be captured alongside the primary film.
Some motion serves the main story.
Some gives the team useful material for other needs.
Interviews & Conversations
Preserve more than the sound bite.
Full-length interviews, extended conversations, podcast recordings, alternate answers, and supporting stills can remain useful well beyond the original edit.
A conversation may later support Short-Form Video, audio, written editorial, or another piece when the material is strong enough to carry it.
From Material to Finished Work
One production can support more than one outcome.
The material captured for one assignment can also support other useful finished pieces.
Some of those uses are planned before production.
Others become apparent once we see what the material gives us.

Hospitality & Guided Experiences
Bring the story into the experience.
Photography and motion can extend beyond campaigns, websites, and social channels into the places where customers encounter the brand.
We can prepare visual material for guided tastings, tasting rooms, hospitality presentations, installations, trade experiences, and digital guided experiences.
For Ink Grade Estate, footage captured by Wildly Simple Productions became part of an immersive visual tasting experience built around the vineyard, seasons, and winemaking process.
Written Editorial
Turn conversations into stories people can read.
Long-form interviews often contain ideas and stories that never make the final edit.
We can work from interview transcripts to develop articles, Q-and-A features, profiles, and blog stories that carry those ideas into written channels.
What Comes Next
See what else is possible.
Once the production is complete, we can help identify useful stories and opportunities inside the material.
That might mean recognizing a story worth developing, connecting existing material to an upcoming campaign, or identifying what the library is missing.
We can also flag what may be worth capturing next.
Built over time.
An Editorial Library can begin with one production.
When something meaningful changes, we can return.
A launch. A new product. Harvest. A menu change. New people. A milestone. A process that happens once a year.
Each production adds another layer while building on what already exists.
As the library grows, so does our understanding of the brand: what has already been captured, what is changing and what is still worth following.

Ready when your team needs it.
Your team has original material to draw from across websites, campaigns, social channels, email, press, presentations, launches, hospitality experiences and future creative.
Instead of beginning from zero every time, new work can build from a stronger foundation.
The goal is not simply to hand over more assets.
It is to create useful material with enough range to support the work in front of you and create more options for what comes next.
